Charles Ennis

Charles Ennis

Charles Ennis is Chairman of the Board of Patriot Bank and Chairman of Patriot of Tennessee Corp, the bank’s holding company.  He has over 48 years in banking, beginning his career at a small community bank in Henning, TN.  Charles continued his career in community banking at several banks in West Tennessee, serving as President of Tennessee Community Bank in Tipton County and President of Peoples Bank in Shelby County, before founding Patriot Bank in Millington in 2001.  Charles is very involved in the communities that Patriot Bank serves.  He was instrumental in forming the Millington Rotary Club and served as its charter president.  In addition to Rotary Club, Charles has served on the University of Memphis Advisory Board and was Chairman of the Tipton County CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates).  He has also served on the Board of Trustees for Union University in Jackson, TN, as past Chairman of the Covington-Tipton County Chamber of Commerce and was Honorary Chair of the 2008 March of Dimes March for Babies.  He also is Chairman of the Board of Grace Broadcasting Services, a network of music and talk radio stations in West Tennessee and he currently serves on the Board of Directors for Love Worth Finding. He has Bachelor and Masters degrees from the University of Memphis.  He and his wife, Pat, have been married for 48 years and have two sons, Seaton and Adam, and two grandsons.  Charles and Pat live in Atoka and are members of Community Baptist Church in Brighton. 


Warren Nunn

Warren Nunn

Warren joined the Board of Directors upon its inception in 2002 and has acted in multiple capacities.  He is also President and CEO of Security Bancorp, the holding company for Security Bank. Warren has spent his life in banking starting his career at Union Planters National Bank in Memphis before returning to Halls in 1972.  He has been on the Security Bank Board of Directors since 1978. He has served on boards and various committees of The University of Memphis, Dyersburg State Community College, Union University and the Baptist Hospital System. He previously served a three-year term on the Board of the Federal Reserve Bank of Memphis. Warren is also co-owner of Tennessee Tractor, which owns ten John Deere dealerships and employs 350 people in ten counties throughout West Tennessee. Warren is a graduate of the University of Memphis. He lives in Halls, TN and has two sons with six grandchildren.


Larry Jackson

Larry Jackson

Larry is President Emeritus of Patriot Bank and was one of the bank’s founders along with Charles Ennis.  Larry has more than 45 years of banking experience in the Millington and Tipton County area. He started with Tri-County Federal Savings and Loan in February 1979 and came to Patriot Bank from Peoples State Bank in 2001. Larry is well-known in the Millington community, not only as the community’s longtime banker, but also through his involvement in community activities.  Larry served four years on the Millington Board of Aldermen, ten years on the Millington Municipal School Board, and nine years on the Memphis and Shelby County Port Commission Board.  He is a Rotarian and an active member of Millington Baptist Church. A 1971 graduate of the University of Memphis, Larry and his wife Francie have three daughters, Audra, Ashlee and Brooke with nine grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.


Keith Barger 07 2021

Keith Barger

Keith Barger was part of the founding management team that help start Patriot Bank including Patriot Bank Mortgage in 2001. Keith currently serves as Vice-Chairman of the bank and President and CEO of Patriot Bank Mortgage. He has been working in the banking and mortgage industry since 1992. Keith is a graduate of Union University and has an MBA from Belhaven University. He serves on the board as Treasurer for the Millington Industrial Development Board. Keith and his wife, Michelle, live in Lakeland and have three daughters, Abby, Alexandria, and Audrey. He is an active member of First Baptist Church Millington.


John F. Smith

John F. Smith

John F. Smith joined Patriot Bank in July 2021 as President, Chief Executive Officer, and member of the Board of Directors. John brings over 35 years of banking experience to Patriot with a rich history of lending and community development. During his career, he has been responsible for major banking functions associated with operations, compliance, and lending. He graduated from the University of Memphis in 1989 and completed multiple banking certifications from 1991 through 1999 including the ABA National Compliance School at the University of Oklahoma, the TBA Southeastern School of Sales Leadership and the TBA Southeastern School of Commercial Lending at Vanderbilt University, and the Louisiana State University Graduate School of Banking of the South. John has served on various community boards affiliated with commerce and economic development in Oakland and Fayette County. He and his wife, Pam, reside in Mason, Tennessee.  They have two daughters and two grandchildren. John and Pam are members of and attend Hope Church in Memphis, TN.


Steven Boatwright

Dr. Steven Boatwright

Dr. Boatwright joined the Patriot Bank Board as a founding member and currently serves as a member of the Audit Committee. Steven comes from a family of Pharmacists, including his father, Leroy, and both of his sisters and their spouses. He is a Pharmacist at Boatwright Pharmacy, which his family has operated since 1957. Boatwright Pharmacy has been the leader in community pharmacy in the Millington area, strongly supporting many schools, churches and community activities. A lifelong Millington resident and graduate of the Ole Miss School of Pharmacy, Dr. Boatwright is past President of the Millington Chamber of Commerce and a member of the Tennessee Pharmacist Association. He and his wife, Kim, have two sons, one daughter, and three grandchildren. They are active members of First Baptist Church in Millington where they have served faithfully for many years.

 


Sara Carter

Sara B. Carter

Sara joined the Patriot Bank Board in 2010 and is a member of the Audit Committee.  She is a graduate of Christian Brothers University with a law degree from the Cecil C. Humphrey's School of Law at the University of Memphis.  A Covington native, Sara returned to her hometown to practice law and is in private practice at Brasfield & Associates, LLC with offices in Millington and Covington. She serves on the Dyersburg State Community College Annual Fund Committee and the City of Covington Planning Commission. She is a member of the Covington Lion’s Club and attends First United Methodist Church of Covington.  She and her husband, Will, have two children -- a daughter, Nola and a son, Duke. 

 


David Hayes

David Hayes

David is also a founding member of the Patriot Bank Board.  He is President of Security Bank, which he joined in 1991 after spending 25 years with Union Planters National Bank in Memphis. He is very active in all aspects of the community in Dyersburg and nationally with the Independent Community Bankers Association. He served as Chairman of the ICBA for 2005- 2006. David also serves on the boards of Security Bank, Gates Banking and Trust Company and The Bank of Jackson. David attended the University of Memphis and the Stonier Graduate School of Banking. He and his wife Sara live in Dyersburg and have two children and two grandchildren.

Bethany Huffman

Bethany has been on the Patriot Bank Board since its inception and serves as Chair of the Audit Committee. She is a Certified Public Accountant with her practice, Bethany K. Huffman, CPA in Millington, Tennessee. A graduate of the University of Memphis, Bethany opened her business in her hometown after a nine-year stint at Deloitte & Touche. She currently serves as an Alderman for the City of Millington, Leadership Millington Steering Committee Chair, Treasurer of the Millington/North Shelby Rotary Club, Advisory Board Chair for Millington Family YMCA, and Board member at Meritan, Inc. She is active in the United Methodist Church and serves the newly formed Tennessee Western Kentucky Conference as a member of the Connectional Table and leader of the Equip Strategy Team. She is a past President of the Tennessee Jaycees, Inc. past District Governor – Rotary International District 6800 and past Chairman of the Millington Area Chamber of Commerce.


Chris Nunn

Chris Nunn

Chris is also a founding member of the Patriot Bank Board. He is a Certified Public Accountant and Chief Financial Officer of Security Bancorp of Tennessee, Inc., where he also serves on the Board. Chris joined the organization after auditing financial institutions for KPMG LLP. He is a member of the Rotary Club of Halls/Gates and St. Louis Catholic Church in Memphis, Tennessee. He and his wife, Kim, live in Memphis with their three children.


Nick Nunn

Nick Nunn

Nick started his career in 1993 in the Fixed Income Division of Morgan Keegan in Memphis.  He was a Senior Vice President working as a broker before leaving to join Security Bancorp in 2005.  He serves on the Board of Directors for all six banks associated with Security Bancorp.  Nick manages the investment portfolio and funds management duties for all six banks in the organization.  Nick also serves as a Board Member of Advance Memphis as well as TennGreen Land Conservancy.  Nick is a graduate of Auburn University.  He and his wife Kara live in Memphis and have three children and are members of Second Presbyterian Church.


Carey Parham

Carey Parham

Carey has been on the Patriot Bank Board since it began.  He opened Carey's Body Shop in Millington in 1977 and retired in 2018. He is a member of the Millington Rotary Club and serves as Chairman of the Millington Industrial Board.  Carey graduated from Millington Central High School and attended the University of Memphis.  He is married with three children, three grandsons, and one granddaughter.  He and his wife live in Millington and are members of First United Methodist Church.


Robbie R. Givhan-Spearman

Robbie R. Givhan-Spearman

Robbie joined the Patriot Bank Board in July 2020. She holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Bellhaven College in Jackson, MS and is the owner of An IV., LLC Home Infusion Pharmacy in Millington, TN. As a dedicated leader, she has a compelling history of community service. She is a 2012 graduate of Leadership Millington, served as President of the Millington Rotary Club 2016-2017, and Chairman of the Board for the Millington Area Chamber of Commerce in 2017. She has served on the board of the Millington YMCA and currently serves on the board of the Millington Rotary Club. In addition to civic responsibilities, Robbie works with area hospitals as the founder and co-facilitator of the In His Arms Support Group, an organization devoted to offering resources and support to families across the region who have experienced the loss of a baby through miscarriage, stillbirth, or early infant death. Robbie lives in Millington with her son, W. Skylar Spearman, and is a member of Bellevue Baptist Church in Cordova, TN.
